Research Interest :

Diversity, metabolic physiology and metal resistance profile of serpentine microbiota from ultramafic ecosystem of Andaman, India. Bioremediation studies using nickel-resistant rhizobacteria underneath Ni-hyperaccumulating plants. Chromium reduction by whole cells, immobilized cells and cell-free extract of Cr-resistant bacteria from serpentine outcrops.

Production of polyhydroxyalkanoates by rhizobacterial strains underneath Ni-hyperaccumulators. Microbial endophytes from medicinal plants: exploitation for bioactive compounds
