Education is meant not only to nurture the excellence in a gifted person but also to uplift the not-so-gifted people, so that he/she could safeguard their interest in our democratic country. Education is a means of empowerment of the downtrodden and underprivileged. According to our constitution, SCs and STs are recognized as the most backward groups who need special protections. In order to enable students belonging to ST/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Minority communities who need remedial coaching to come up to the level for pursuing higher studies efficiently and to reduce their failure and drop-out rate, the UGC has provided us a financial assistance for conducting special classes outside the regular time table during the eleventh plan. The other backward classes and general candidates may also be allowed to avail the facilities with some nominal monthly fees which are not exceeding the regular college monthly fees. However, the physically challenged students and the students who are general candidates coming from families with income below the poverty line (as guided by the State/UT/Central Government) are exempted from paying the fee.

FACILITIES:

  • Special attention to students with special needs.
  • There are regular text books and reference books that are issued in favor of the eligible students
  • Class tests are conducted on regular intervals.
