About the Department
The Dept. of Philosophy has been a part of Serampore College since its foundation. It has a dedicated and qualified faculty and a rich departmental library. The academic performance of the students has been consistently good in the university examinations.

Message of the H. O. D.
The dept. wants to inculcate a love for the subject in the students and does not believe in mechanical teaching and rote learning. We believe in interactive classroom teaching.
