Respected Principal, Staff and Students of Serampore College,

Greetings. At the outset I would like to thank the Council of Serampore College for giving me the opportunity to serve as Master of this historic institution. We are very much proud of this institution because it has made tremendous impact in the field of secular and theological education in India and abroad. It has great impact for the society and the nation. Our founding fathers William Carey, Joshua Marshman and William Ward whose sacrifice, commitment and contributions will be remembered all through.

I do appreciate the leadership of Dr. Vansanglura who serves as the Principal of the College and also as the Secretary of the Council of Serampore College. I am confident that under his leadership the college will go to greater heights and make progress in all the fields.
